Password Protected

Robo Gallery Fusion allows you to restrict access to a gallery using password protection. This is useful when you want to share galleries privately with clients, friends, or specific users.

With password protection enabled, visitors must enter the correct password before they can view the gallery.

Enabling Password Protection

To protect a gallery with a password:

  1. Open your Fusion Gallery
  2. Go to the Options panel
  3. Open the Access Option tab
  4. Enable Private access mode

Password Protected

Once enabled, additional access control settings become available.

Setting a Gallery Password

Inside the Access Option tab you will find the Password field.

Enter the password you want to use to protect the gallery.

After saving the gallery:

  • visitors must enter the password
  • the gallery will remain hidden until the correct password is provided

This ensures only authorized users can access your gallery.

Shareable Link Option

Fusion galleries can also use shareable links.

The Shareable Link option allows you to generate a direct link that can be sent to users.

Depending on your configuration:

  • visitors may access the gallery via the link
  • or still be required to enter the password

This feature is useful for:

  • sending private galleries to clients
  • sharing event photos
  • providing access to specific users without publishing the gallery publicly

Typical Use Cases

Password protected galleries are commonly used for:

Client Photo Delivery

Photographers often protect galleries before delivering images to clients.

Private Event Galleries

Wedding, birthday, or family galleries can be shared securely.

Internal Company Galleries

Teams can share internal photos without making them public.

Client Review Galleries

Designers and agencies can share draft visual materials with restricted access.

Best Practices

  • Use strong passwords
  • Change passwords when access should expire
  • Combine password protection with private links
  • Avoid publishing protected galleries in public navigation menus
