Missing Images

If your gallery appears on the page but some or all images are missing, follow these steps to resolve the issue.

Make sure you’re viewing the correct gallery on the page.

  • Go to Robo Gallery > Manage Galleries
  • Check the Shortcode used in the page or post (e.g., [robo-gallery id=12])
  • Confirm it matches the gallery you edited

๐Ÿ”น 2. Check for Uploaded Images

A gallery without images will not show any content.

โœ… To check:

  • Open the gallery in the editor
  • Click Manage Images
  • Confirm that images are uploaded or selected in the Media Manager

If no images are listed โ€” upload or select new images, then Save the gallery.

๐Ÿ”น 3. Look for Errors on the Page

Sometimes missing images are caused by JavaScript or loading errors.

  • Open your browserโ€™s Developer Tools > Console (usually F12)
  • Look for any errors or failed requests related to gallery scripts or images
  • Take a screenshot or note the error for further troubleshooting

๐Ÿ”น 4. Use Compatibility Settings

Some themes or plugins may block image loading or interfere with gallery scripts.

โœ… Solution:

  • Go to Robo Gallery > Settings > Compatibility Settings
  • Set jQuery Version to Alternative or Forced Include
  • Save changes and reload the page

๐Ÿ”น 5. Confirm Media Manager Contents

In the gallery settings, open the Media Manager again to confirm:

  • Images are present and correctly listed
  • No broken thumbnails or empty entries are shown
  • Images have valid file paths (hover over thumbnail to check URL)
